Further north, Lapland offers a very different side of Finland, with Arctic landscapes, reindeer, Sámi culture, winter activities and the possibility of experiencing the Northern Lights. In the southwest, the Åland Islands offer a unique island setting between Finland and Sweden, with maritime landscapes, historic sights and a relaxed archipelago atmosphere.
